This episode, as direct sequel to USS Callister (2017), presented the challenge of reviving the very specific look and feel crafted by graphic designers Erica McEwen and Sophie Powell, illustrator Butcher Billy, and motion designer Simon Russell - and then elaborating further to serve the ambitions of the new script.
I was helped to no end by the generosity of that original team, and was supported in the office by Oona Brown and Joanna Marshal.
